Artist statement: Lyndsi R. Harris is a contemporary mixed media artist. She specializes in watercolor and hand embroidery on a variety of non-traditional canvases including birch tree bark and hand-tanned salmon leather. She uses her artwork to tell stories of wildlife and wild places in the hopes of connecting viewers to them in ways they may have never encountered before. She uses her background as a biologist to bring attention to unique creatures, exciting conservation efforts, and special places around the world.

  • Individuals who can pick items up in Anchorage, AK on Sunday February 1st from 10:00am - 7:00pm, Monday from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
  • Individuals who can pick items up at the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward, AK, February - April, 2026.

The Alaska SeaLife Center’s annual Anchorage fundraising event returns to the Anchorage Museum to benefit marine research, education, and conservation.
