Collectors, this is a rare opportunity to acquire an exceptional vintage Dale Chihuly glass art piece, signed and dated 1984, from one of the most iconic periods of his career.

This large Seaform vessel, measuring 14 inches wide, exemplifies Chihuly’s masterful command of form, movement, and color. The piece features a single-form construction with the classic ribbed Seaform design, highlighted by strong, fluid undulation that gives the vessel its signature sense of motion and depth. The colorway is particularly striking and highly desirable—an elegant amethyst lavender exterior that transitions into warm amber interior tones, creating dramatic contrast and visual richness as light moves across the surface. The piece is described as being in very good vintage condition, with surface wear consistent with age, appropriate for a glass artwork of this era and adding to its authenticity and provenance.

Highlights include:

  • Dale Chihuly Seaform vessel, signed and dated 1984
  • Large scale at 14 inches wide
  • Single-form Seaform with classic ribbing and pronounced undulation
  • Amethyst lavender exterior with warm amber interior—highly sought-after colorway
  • Very good vintage condition, with age-appropriate surface wear

This is a museum-quality work from a pivotal chapter in Chihuly’s career—bold, elegant, and unmistakably his. An extraordinary centerpiece for a serious collection and a true statement of glass artistry.
